_______________________________

I loved every aspect of putting this album together and I'm excited to release it for public consumption. It was an opportunity to create at a higher level thanks to all those who have helped me.

"I've Never Been Here Before," is a collaborative effort, primarily with my good friend, Gerry Plank (GerryPlank.weebly.com). Gerry has helped me greatly with constructive critiques and suggestions throughout all levels of production, to say nothing of his superb saxophone work, a major highlight on this album. I couldn't have done this without Gerry's help.

I am also grateful for the opportunity to feature the late Bobby Moncivais' creative, funky bass work on "Late For Supper Blues." A posthumous thank you my friend. You are missed.

Thanks too, to my nephew, Forrest Everett for helping me to continually learn more about drumming. Check out his incredible band:

Most importantly, I give thanks to my wife Bonnie, for her dedication and support. More than anyone throughout my life, Bonnie understands, "it's what I do." Thank you Bonnie for your acceptance, your love, inspiration, and encouragement. I love you Baby.

To everyone who takes any measures to help me, I may not know who you are or exactly what you've done to assist in the success of "I've Never Been Here Before," but I thank you in advance for your help.

Track Name: Late For Supper Blues
Late For Supper Blues

Verse:
Five in the mornin', I got up to go to work
The job ain't so bad but the boss drives me berserk
'Cause late in the day, when it ought to be a crime
He comes to me and says don't leave, you'll be workin' overtime

Chorus:
Got the late for supper blues
Late for comin' home to you
Don't be cookin' nothin' special
I got the late for supper blues

Verse:
When the day was finally over, I was walkin' to my car
And the guys said, "c'mon man, we're goin' to the bar
I told 'em I would have just one then come right home to you
I was havin' fun, had another one, didn't quit 'til after two

Chorus:
Got the late for supper blues
Late for comin' home to you
Don't be cookin' nothin' special
I got the late for supper blues
Track Name: If You Won't Give My Heart A Break
If You Won't Give My Heart A Break

Verse:
Please don't spare me, don't hold back
The past has taught me things I lack
I want it all, need everything
I can't accept the same ol' routine
I'm right here, and yours to take
If you won't give my heart a break

Verse:
I'll open up, let it all go
Just accept all I show
Freedom is for what I yearn
You must have yours in return
I'm right here, and yours to take
If you won't give my heart a break

Bridge:
You can't know me if I can't be open
If you can't accept me, please just go then
The purest love is all it takes
Just don't give my heart a break

Verse:
I want to know you, I won't judge
I'll give and take, I won't begrudge
Past mistakes, immaterial
Perfect love, ethereal
I'm right here, and yours to take
If you won't give my heart a break
Track Name: Lightly Lit
Saxophone(s) - Gerry Plank
Written and produced by Greg Everett
Track Name: Push Obsolete
Push Obsolete

Verse:
The world is a factory
That would like you to meet
A machine from tomorrow
Push obsolete
Faster and faster
Speed unconfined
Ever changing circles
That never align

Verse:
Oh it demands
Well do not fall behind
Don't dawdle or daydream
Only show your resign
Indulge and you're warned
You're likely to meet
A machine from tomorrow
Push obsolete
